Day 1: Arusha
Upon arrival at Arusha airport you will be picked up by myself and our drivers and transported to the nearby Arusha Coffee lodge. This amazing 4 star lodge is located on a large coffee plantations on the outskirts of Arusha. Take the afternoon to relax and recover from your flight. You may wish to explore the grounds, relax by the swimming pool or do a excursion at your own expense. There are several dining options at the lodge or you may want to visit a nearby restaurant.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we depart Arusha taking a scenic drive en-route to Tarangire National Park. We check in to our luxury accommodation Tarangire Sopa Lodge which was a nominee at the 2017 luxury hotel awards. We enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and relax at the lodge before taking our first game drive at 4:00pm and return at 6:30.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Today we take two game drives, first a mid morning game drive from 8:00am – 12:00 and again from 3:30pm – 6:30pm. Tarangire is famous for its large herds of elephants and tree climbing lions, as well as its landscape of many termite mounds and baobab trees. Other common animals found here include zebra, wildebeest, cape buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, dik dik, eland, grants gazelle and baboon. Predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah, honey badger, caracal and wild dogs are also found within the park however are not always easy to find.

Day 4: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater
At 6:30 we take a short morning game drive around Tarangire National Park before returning at 8:00am for breakfast. After breakfast we drive to Ngorongoro Crater arriving at the luxurious Oldeani Mountain Lodge. A 5 star colonial lodge situated on a picturesque hill with spectacular views onto Oldeani Mountain and the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. The lodge is elevated with 360 degree views that extend all the way to Lake Eyasi and Lake Manyara. The property is set on 40 acres of pristine lush green gardens and local vegetation with over 130 species of birds. Situated in the shadow of the Ngorongoro Crater the area around Karatu is perfect for exploring two of Tanzania’s gems, the Crater and Lake Manyara National Park. The Ngorongoro crater is one of the best places in East Africa to see leopards, which are rarely seen in most East African National Parks. Around midday where we arrive at our lodge for check in and lunch. later in the afternoon we take a game drive in the Ngorongoro crater.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Today we depart our lodge at 8:00am and take a full day game drive in the Ngorongoro crater. Just a 12km drive from our lodge to the park gates. We spend 8 hours exploring the crater floor in search for its resident elephant, rhinoceros, cape buffalo, lion, hippopotamus, wildebeest, zebra, eland, thompsons gazelle and grant gazelle. Leopards, cheetah and wild dog are present however all are rarely seen. Around midday we stop at a picnic site with a packed lunch. The evening is spent at Our luxurious lodge enjoying drinks and dinner

Day 6: Serengeti
After breakfast we take a short drive to the Serengeti. The Serengeti is ranked by African Geographic as the number 1 National Park in Africa for a safari and 2nd best National Park to see wild lions. Enjoy a game drive along the way to our keeping an eye out for its well-known predators en-route to Serengeti Sopa Lodge arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in world famous Serengeti National Park.

Day 7: Serengeti
Known affectionately as ‘big cat country, the central region of the Serengeti is the park’s most visited region. The Central Serengeti boasts the most accommodation options and the best opportunity to see big cats such as lions, cheetahs, and the always elusive leopard in the wild.
The presence of these predators in no way dissuades herbivores from calling the region home, and visitors can expect to see everything from diminutive impala to towering elephants and giraffes as they drive amidst the kopjes and acacia trees.
Today we take two game drive from 8:00am – 12:00 and 3:30 – 6:30

Day 8: Serengeti – Lake Manyara
After an early breakfast we depart the Serengeti with a short game drive on the way as we leave the park behind us. We arrive at Lake Manyara around midday. At 4pm we take our first game drive at Lake Manyara National Park which is an unspoiled paradise of ground water forest fed by underground springs and teeming with wildlife such as elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and some of the largest baboon troupes in Africa. However, it’s most iconic attraction is undoubtedly its tree-climbing lions, and people flock from all over the world to see these iconic predators lounging in the trees.

Day 9: Lake Manyara

Today we take two game drives, one at 8:00am – 12:00 and  a second from 3:30 – 6:30

Day 10: Lake Manyara – Arusha

After breakfast we depart Lake Manyara and return to Arusha for departure. We arrive around midday and visit a local restaurant for lunch. Later we are transferred to Arusha airport for departure or if you wish to stay an extra night at your own expense we can drop you off at a local accommodation.
