Day 1: Nairobi
When you arrive at the Nairobi International airport, I will be there to give you a very warm welcome. With our competent driver on the scene, we will transport you to our first nights luxury accommodation at the Boma Hotel. This grand hotel is equipped with all of the requirements you’ll need for a pleasurable and satisfying rest. It is expected that you will need to recuperate from the flight hence there are no scheduled activities for the first afternoon/evening so that you have sufficient time to recuperate. You can take advantage of the many conveniences at the hotel to help unwind. Whether you choose to relish a massage at the spa. Unwind by the swimming pool or have a drink at the bar, you can be sure that you have a pleasurable resting experience. Dinner is not included in the plan, hence you will be paying for dinner from your pocket. For dinner, there are many options you can explore. You could decide to eat in the Boma Nairobi’s in-house restaurant, Johari restaurant, or you could cruise around Nairobi to find a fantastic spot.

Day 2: Taita Hills
At the break of dawn, we would leave Nairobi and drive to Taita Hills Game Reserve. It is a 6-hour drive and it is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and large herds of buffalo. Once we arrive at the Sarova Salt Lick Lodge, you will be offered lunch at your lodge. Later in the afternoon, you will be on our first game drive at the park in search for Cape buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, masai giraffe, zebra and much more. Later return to your lodge for dinner where you will sleep over at the luxurious Sarova Salt Lick Lodge.

Day 3: Taita Hills
At the break of dawn, we take an early morning game drive cruise that takes you around Taita hills and brings you back to the Lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will have some rest before we go back for a mid-morning game drive exploration. We will explore most of the area’s common inhabitants which are celebrated predators like lions and leopards. The exploration would also bring us closer to their natural adversaries like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, and Hippo. We will drive back to our lodge around lunchtime, depending on animal activity. The afternoon is spent game viewing from the lodges viewing decks overlooking the waterhole. There is no need for an afternoon game drive as the warm afternoon sun brings the herds to the watering hole for spectacular wildlife viewing.

Day 4: Lake Manyara
After an early breakfast we depart Taita Hills with a short game drive on the way as we leave the park behind us. We drive south to the Tanzania border, stopping for lunch on the way. We arrive at Lake Manyara in the early afternoon. At 4pm we take our first game drive in Tanzania. Lake Manyara National Park is an unspoiled paradise of ground water forest fed by underground springs and teeming with wildlife such as elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and some of the largest baboon troupes in Africa. However it’s most iconic attraction is undoubtedly its tree-climbing lions, and people flock from all over the world to see these iconic predators lounging in the trees.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
At 6am we take an early morning game drive around Lake Manyara before returning at 8:30 for Morning breakfast. After breakfast we drive to Ngorongoro Crater full day game drive with a packed lunch. Situated in the shadow of the Ngorongoro Crater the area around Karatu is perfect for exploring two of Tanzania’s gems, the Crater and Lake Manyara National Park. Around 6pm we arrive at our lodge for check in and dinner.

Day 6: Serengeti
After breakfast we take a short drive to the Serengeti. Enjoy a game drive along the way to Serengeti Sopa Lodge arriving in lunch time. Afternoon game drive in Serengeti.

Day 7: Serengeti
Known affectionately as ‘big cat country, the central region of the Serengeti is the park’s most visited region. The Central Serengeti boasts the most accommodation options and the best opportunity to see big cats such as lions, cheetahs, and the always elusive leopard in the wild.
The presence of these predators in no way dissuades herbivores from calling the region home, and visitors can expect to see everything from diminutive impala to towering elephants and giraffes as they drive amidst the kopjes and acacia trees.
Today we take 3 game drives which take place at sunrise, after breakfast and late afternoon.

Day 8: Masai Mara
At 6am we head out on an early morning game drive in the Serengeti returning to camp for breakfast. After breakfast we have a short game drive en-route as we drive north through The Serengeti and return to Kenya arriving at the Masai Mara stopping to have a packed lunch along the way. We arrive at camp in the late afternoon where we take some time to relax at the 5-star luxury Ashnil Tented Camp.

Day 9: Masai Mara
At dawn we take a early morning game drive in search of the Masai Mara’s lions, leopard, cheetah, elephant, cape buffalo, black rhinoceros, hippopotamus and many more species. After breakfast visit masai village where we join in the cultural dances, learn about there culture, visit a masai school and shop for suveniers at the masai village markets. After lunch we relax at lodge before we take an afternoon game drive.

Day 10: Lake Nakuru
After an early breakfast we leave the Masai Mara with a game drive en-route to the park gates. From there its roughly a 4-5 hour drive to our final accommodation the beautiful Lake Nakuru where we spend two nights at the 5-star Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. We have a late lunch and take an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru has a high population of both black and white rhino as well as many large herds of cape buffalo, however it is most famous for its tree climbing lions. We return to the lodge to watch the cultural dances and have an unforgettable dinner at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 11: Lake Nakuru
After breakfast we leave for our morning game drive at 7.30 am and spend a good 5 hours looking for Lake Nakuru’s resident lion, leopard, rhinoceros, hyena, cape buffalo and many other majestic animals. We return to the lodge around noon for lunch and time to relax. Later at 16:00 hours we go for another game drive returning at 18:30 hours.

Day 12
After breakfast we check out of our lodge at 7.30 hours and take our final game drive departing Lake Nakuru for Nairobi at approximately 10.00 hours. At about midday, we arrive in Nairobi for lunch. This is where the tour ends. If you have an afternoon flight we can transfer you to Nairobi International Airport. Or if you wish to stay in Nairobi for a little longer we can transfer you to a hotel.
